the problem with guy pearce...
...is that he's too versatile an actor. let me explain.
scully, cous and i ventured out last night - out of the kindness of scully's heart, of course, as i was, as usual, low on cash. (dvds don't grow on trees, you know.) italianni's - my absolute favorite italian restaurant in town. i usually celebrate my birthdays there - have done so these past, i don't know, four years maybe? well, except the last one.
anyway, so there we were, dining on pasta in various sauces, shapes and sizes, and who catches my eye? well, a lovely at the corner table. looked very guy pearce in L.A. Confidential, except in a very laid-back ensemble of t-shirt and jeans. but the more we spied on him, the more we realized that he wasn't guy pearce in L.A. Confidential. rather he was guy pearce in Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. crap. another wasted night on the town.
