the beach
princess u says she wants to run away to the beach. she says she's burning out from working her 70- to 80-hour weeks.
princess u: c'mon, let's just leave! let's go live in boracay.
me: and how will we survive there? without a job and all?
princess u: there's a radio station there. we could work there.
me: are you crazy? they can't afford us. and with what they do pay, i don't think we'll be able to afford to live there.
princess u: we'll live at the radio station then.
me: i don't think the radio station there has air-conditioning, sweet.
princess u: oh.
and that ended that conversation. but wouldn't that be lovely though? to just run away, live out the plans you once held in your youth? plans that have become full-fledged dreams?
crap. i've got to go. i'm starting to depress myself. maybe a twinkie break will cheer me up.
