taking to the streets

god! there's another protest somewhere in this city of mine. it seems this has become our national pastime. the americans have baseball. the japanese have origami. and we have the regular ousting of people in power. protesters are being hosed down as i type. i feel bad for them. but, apparently, not enough to go over there and get my flip-flops wet. hey! i already helped bring down one tyrant. i think that's enough politics to last me a couple of more years. i believe in the separation of ophelia and the state. at least, for now.
